Living in a houseboat on the Water is a rewarding and sought after lifestyle

We love the lifestyle of living on the water and and many other people do as well. Unfortunately this means that residential moorings are very difficult to find. Here are some of the current places around England that we have visited in search of residential moorings.

NORWICH

The Norfolk Broads are a fantastic place to enjoy the water but the Broads Authority are very strict and unfortunately we have only discovered a few residential moorings in some of the marina's, such as Brundall and a couple of places in Norwich, Thorpe Island being one of them.

Thorpe Island

Moorings at Thorpe Island are only accessible by boat. Additionally, it has a train line running across it, so not the quietest of locations.
